On behalf of the Youth First Texas Board of Directors, Director of Development Sam Wilkes, the many volunteers and the youth, we would like to extend sincerest thanks for your generosity at the Pride Kick-Off Event on September 11. Your largesse led to a cumulative $19,020 in monthly gifts and $4,895 in one-time donations.

Your kindness allows for the center to remain open as a safe space for LGBTQ youth to gather and hang out with one another and develop crucial life skills, and it helps facilitate our groups and activities related to the four pillars of Youth First Texas: Education, Leadership, Social Services and Recreation.

We want to extend particular thanks to Jo Bess Jackson and Joanne Martin for hosting the event at their beautiful home. We would also like to thank Pam Gerber for chairing the event, Steve Atkinson, Pinky’s Valet Service, Barefoot Wines, and Doug Boster.
